John Zoltai has a rare ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable layman's terms as well as present business and regulatory concepts in terms familiar to information technology (IT) practitioners.
Known as an expert in information systems implementation and management, John provides consulting, litigation support, and training services for non-IT managers and executives as well as development teams.
John is the author of the Shell Method; the only published methodology template with a full, auditable online software engineering process repository and associated templates. Shell Method templates have been used by information systems developers and consultants worldwide since 1999. He has recently authored the Agile Specification site, which provides a modern design infrastructure for systems analysts.
As President of Digital Publications LLC, John provides services to both sides of the table:
- For business managers and executives, John provides consulting services, litigation support, and workshops on IT governance, software risk and feasibility assessment, software acquisition, software project management, requirements management, and project metrics.
- For IT managers, John provides consulting services and workshops for software engineering process improvement, quality assurance, configuration management, workflow planning, procedure development, and training of development teams.
